new to forum and RVing

We are from the Northeast and are looking to go to Florida. Want to avoid real busy areas and travel more rural, but would like to see a few things while in route. We purchased a class A 28' and will be traveling with a dog. Any suggestions or routes anyone can give will be helpful. Thank you

    take I-81 for much of the distance. avoid baltimore/D.C. etc. and I -95 at least down to fredericksburg, va

    When you come down do Florida caverns in north FL. Yes FL has caves. lol.
    Do the Campy things, a ton of them here. Gatorland in kissimmee. Frank Loyd Write buildings in Lakeland. A couple of drive ins in Polk County. Solomons Caatle, it in the middle of no where. See the Mermaids at Weeki Wachi springs.
