OK I was in your boat last year, the one the wife and I decided on was almost 20 years old and I unfamiliar with motorhome construction. It had a skylight that had been leaking for a while. I have been working on it year now off and on. We paid ten grand for it and it took four months to repair the water damage, most of it anyway, still have a couple of skin sections that have delaminated to fix. We did take it to Florida, lots of fun. After the new roof, air bags, kitchen/bath sinks, new shower enclosure/fixture, toilet, televisions, etc, a bunch of hours and don't know about $4,000 it is ready to paint. I would have run from ours if I had know the hours it would take to get it there. If it were me I would pass on the one your looking at, to many better units in that price range.
