The transfer switch would allow the inverter to be in effect hard wired.
You would still use the cord as normal when utility power is available.
For inverter power you just press the remote for instant power... no running outside.
The additional transfer switch can be used between an existing generator transfer switch and the main panel.
40 amp Renogy and 55a IOTA should serve you well.
B+ = Battery positive terminal.
