newbie electrically challenged question

I am realizing that while on the road there is no power to the outlets. We have a new to us 1988 Ford Tioga, and was hoping that we could charge a laptop, cell phone ect while on the road. Is there any way to do this? Need to keep my wife working on vacation....

  • The outlets are 120V AC powered when you are hooked up to power pedestal, a generator or an on-board 'inverter'

Easiest solution is a stand alone 'inverter' that plugs into cigar lighter/power port of vehicle.

Here is one that sits in a cup holder......it's 150 watts and has AC outlets & USB ports $27
