NHTSA& EPA want to limit speedof vehicles over 26,000 lbs

I think it's a good move. Heavy trucks and busses can't safely stop or perform an avoidance maneuver at 75+ mph they travel on the Interstates here in the West.

Personally, I think 65 mph would be a fine national speed limit for all vehicles.

55 mph was a bit too low back in the 80's and feels even lower now that cars are built to drive safer at higher speeds than they were then.
