No 02 Downstream Sensor 2006 F-53
Ford says there should be one in the cat. I have a top plug in the cat, no sensor. No wires anywhere near the area to indicate someone disconnected and removed. Any ideas?

What code is it?- Just because FORD says there "Should be" does not mean there is.
Plus the pre-cat sensor can be anywhere from the manifold to the cat. (But I think that's sensor 1) not all vehicles have a sensor 2.

if you had to change out the unit that had the 02 install they might not have put it back or could not get it out. - when was the last time you checked ob2 could have been in there for ever the sensor would be in the back of the cat or the pipe off the cat if you had one

- do you a check engine light on with a code for down stream o2 sensor if not you don't have one
