Here is something else you can try.
Unscrew the motor home main gas filler cap to relieve all negative pressure in the main fuel tank. If the generator then runs fine, you may have a weak generator fuel pump, a partial obstruction in your generator fuel line, or your chassis fuel evaporative system has developed a problem causing too much negative pressure. You would not necessarily have a crack in your generator's fuel line.
A crack would show up as a wet fuel line and the smell of gasoline. If you don't have either, maybe it's one of the other things I mentioned.
