No hot water
First trip of season and no hot water. Water in tank is hot but not getting to sink/shower. I think it is mixing valve. Any hints on how to fix without replacing. I did check all faucets closed. D...

This sounds like a tempering (mixing) valve to me. Does it have two inlets and one outlet?
