We travel with four cats and how they handle it is varied so I would say it is up to the cat itself. There generally is no problem when we are parked. When we are moving is a different story. One is very laid back, sometimes sits in back, sometimes sits up next to my feet, even known to be on the dash a time or two. One will travel around a bit, but mostly sits in back. The other two climb down under the sofa and hide/sleep till we stop. You won't know until you try.
Would recommend you bring all medical files, have them microchipped and registered, up to date on shots.
