By the way, a good ten buck investment is a small indoor/outdoor wireless thermometer. Put the outdoor transmitter in the refrig and the indoor receiver somewhere convenient. You can monitor the coldness of your refrig without opening the door. My wife worries about all the stuff we carry getting to hot or just as bad, lettuce and fruit freezing. Paul
In our fridge, there are cold and there are freezing zones. Anything too close to the aluminum fins freezes. So to others thinking about monitoring, place the sensor away from those fins.
