Norcold problem Fixed I think.

Hi Friends,
New problem with Norcold 1200, Runs perfect on electric, plenty cold etc. Doesn't automatically switch to propane. Check light comes on, NO propane (Tanks are full) I turn on and off several times, doesn't light. Leave alone for 10 mins, turn on then smack the gas valve and it lights.

Any ideas?

I turned the gas valve off and on, Then blew the dirt from the burner,
seems to work fine, plugged in and unplugged, it works.

    Keep smacking the gas valve as needed..........

    OR fix gas valve problem.
    Contacts/terminals dirty.....loose...corroded
    Gas valve solenoids sticking/binding
    Gas valve sticking/binding


    Dad used to whack the top of the ole RCA TV to make it work.
    Finally had to buy a new TV
