+1 for Assateage. Several of us do camp there every year. If it is still open I prefer the state campgrounds. They have hot water in the shower rooms and are very nice. We did a drive by of the Del. beaches and preferrer Assateage.
Them ponies may look cute but are are thieving rascals. Stole a friends birthday cake (carrot cake at that).
