I replaced similar bulbs (1141) in our rig with LEDs and they just plugged right into existing socket with no change to wiring. We've done a full interior conversion to LEDs with most replacments purchased from Ebay along with a handful purchased from USA (about 4X the price) sources. They all were manufactured in China and have performed flawlessly with zero failures after 3 years of service. They sip current compared to their incandescent counterparts and run so much cooler, we just love them and our battery bank hardly notices their use. Great mod for those who camp off the grid often.
