I got a class B+ about 2 years ago. We had a small TT and a F350 to tow with and I liked it. The other 1/2 however is the one who wanted to be able to go potty etc without stopping so we got what we got. I dont find much difference between the TT and the RV to be honest. Set up/take down are about the same and yes I have auto levelers but they like anything else are not exact in operation, plus like with a trailer ya need to make sure the area is solid enough to deploy the legs. I still put some 2x8's under the pads and try to get the rig level with other 2x8s as not all spots are level to begin with. I know many say just pull in hitch the switch and thats it, but I have found its not that simple at least for me. We also have a towed to mess with so you will/may still be hitching something up with an rv. I like the truck to travel in but yes it was a tad on the big side compared to the towed we now have.
I always told folks I was not old enough to get a MH, still dont think I am but the wife thought otherwise. Either go with someone who has a trailer or rv and see what it takes. Rent one is also a possibility before purchase/choice. I drive a school bus so didn't want a class a of any configuration due to size and then later storage issues. Have family and friends with them but they are not my cup o tea.
sned me a PM if ya have any questions
