O.K. ... Here's a bona-fide 'stupid' question...

Years ago I was wandering around an audio/video store and was asked to be in a commercial. It was just me and a couple other people pretending to be shopping (not much of a stretch since that's what I was doing anyway).

They paid us each $1 and made us sign a contract that said we agreed that was all we were ever going to be paid along with a bunch of other fine print. I suppose once there's an exchange of money it changes things and makes some attorney somewhere happy.
