I'm considering buying a used motorhome in very good shape. The dealer is asking $70,000, the NADA price is $55,000 to $66,500. I want to offer them less than $70,000, but I don't want to embarras...

I agree as well. This is like what was previously mentioned to stick with / start with 20% below low NADA. From what I've read wholesale values are at about this amount.
Having said that I haven't found any online resources for wholesale values ... any tips? Is there a black book for RVs I could try and get a local salesperson to let me look at?
You might try your bank or credit union. When they did the workup on my loan they looked strictly at wholesale prices.
