It's a maintenance item. That's what I was told. Just like fuel filter and oil filters. $120.00 labor & parts.
NO IT IS A DESIGN PROBLEM If frozen water can crack the plastic bowl, then it is a really stupid design by incompetent engineers. In what grade does one learn that water expands when it freezes?
