Oh - nooo. Not the engine repair you want to hear so soon

A) The water separator manufacturer is not responsible for the maintenance that is not performed prior to putting a vehicle in storage for the winter.
B) The plastic bowl is a fail safe for non performed maintenance.
C) A cracked steel bowl would be more expensive.
D) A steel bowl is impossible to see through. Therefore you would not know to drain the water separator or that there was water in that last fill up at the cheapest station you could find.
