When it comes to my brain I always use double foil, can never be to cautious :B

I have the same antenna. It's for the OLD cell boosters. The one where you plugged the phone in. The wiring is behind the dash and is about 30' long. I've never used mine.....Dennis

Mine is the cell antenna for my OnStar.

OK I have one on our Holiday Rambler. I have never figured out how to use it but according to the manual it's a cell phone signal amplifier.

Looks like GPS to me. I have a similar looking thing on my roof, but it's white and has a gap in the top to let air in, and it is the wind sensor for my power awning. I can't see yours too well in this photo but if it's solid it's probably GPS, if it has the gap around the top it could be a wind sensor. Another possibility is satellite radio antenna, but I haven't seen one that looks quite like that.
