If you are handy and don't mind doing the work, you can remove the genset yourself. I dropped my Onan 7.5 Quiet Deisel genset out of a 2002 Winnebago Journey and did the full maintenance. I put some 6 X 6 timbers under the front jacks to get more lift, raised the front of the coach and used a motorcycle jack to lower the genset.
I did it by myself but would certainly recommend a second set of hands when lowering and raising the genset. It weights north of 600 lbs.
Was yours mounted in the front ? Do you think I can get the sides off without dropping the Gen set?
