When you hold the start button what is clicking sound? the sound on my 7.5 kw used to be quite loud but lately you can hardley hear it and it seams to take longer befor starting, whats up with that? ...

Mine is a onan quiet diesel 8000 and has made the clicking sound since new, I will have to try holding the off button first before starting
