One Corner Air Bags Not Inflating - RESOLVED

After sitting for about 3 months while working in one location, we started the coach today for our normal monthly schedule of exercising the engine and generator. The front driver's side did not go up to ride height. The passenger side front and both rear corners inflated normally. Both dash gauges read normally. Tried tapping on the Height control valve but no luck. Any suggestions?

  • Thanks for the reply YC1. Yes it is an 8 bag system. We are the original owners of the coach. We just got off the phone with Monaco and got a part number of N20966A for the Two way splitter check valve because that is what we believe it to be. We ordered the part just now because we hope to leave here within two weeks.

Just looking for other suggestions in case that doesn't turn out to be the problem. Really glad that we did a pre-flight check out today instead of having this problem on the 23rd before heading out from our Amazon job site.
  • Is that an 8 airbag system? My 2008 8 bag system has one control valve on the front and two in the back. If yours is the same it seems the ride height valve or some splitter after that is plugged.

If a previous owner installed comfort ride valves then it could be defective. You would find that kind of valve about 6 inches where the bags tee off .
  • It seems to go up just a little bit but not enough to allow clearance for the front tire to turn without damage to the wheel well.

I believe we have one valve for front and two for the rear.

We tried dumping the air and reairing a couple times but no change. We do NOT have air leveling. We also tried putting down the front jack just to take some weight off the air bags and then reinflating but no joy there either.
  • Did it go up at all or just not to full height??

Do you have just one valve for the front and two for the rear?

You might try dumping the air and bring it back up again and make sure the air leveling is not engaged.
