Opinions on Fleetwood Revolution LE

Looking at possibly purchasing a 2007 Fleetwood 40 Revolution LE. Would appreciate any pro or con comments on this motor home ( has 400 hp CAT diesel ) . Also, any comments on other brands as to which would be a better choice in the 2006 to 2009 range.

  • We love ours. Spartan LE Liberty chassis might be the strongest ever made.

Welcome to the forums, you might want to read this post on a Cat C9. The bigger Cat Acert engines are having plenty of problems. I am not anti Cat as I've made a lot of money with Cat equipment BUT I am glad I have a Cummins in my MH. I was looking for another Beaver MH (Cat engine) but the best deal I found was on my 04 Monaco Dynasty which comes with a Cummins ISL. That said there is another post today on How much to replace a ISL engine? Both are by new members with no addition info.
  • I can only add to what others have said. We had a 2005 Revolution LE with the 400 hp CAT engine. It was an excellent coach. Gave us a wonderful 90,000 miles over 9 years with minimal problems. If the one you are looking at performs anywhere near like ours did you will have many years of happy travels from it. The only reason we traded ours last spring is that we are getting older and wanted a shorter coach.

  • Mike, they've always been a good solid coach. You won't go wrong with it.
  • I had an 05 Revolution LE.....Great motor home. Many consider the Sparten Chasis the best. I currently havean 04 Revolution which is not an LE. It's on a Freightliner chasis.........love it.
