Our '02 has been trouble-free so far. The higher rev range is something you get used to, but, after being around motorcycles that run 12,000 rpm and more, 3800 rpm climbing hills is no big deal.
The best thing for us is that mileage doesn't suffer when we're in the mountains. 7.5 mpg no matter where we are. Our old 460 got 6 mpg at sea level an only about 4.5 at altitude (in a 26' Class C).
