I must chime in also, in April 2008, I purchased my first Triton V-10 gasser, from a guy in the next state. The only thing I did not like about this RV was the noise coming from the engine. The faster I went the louder the noise got. I took it to 3 different engine repair places and all told me "that is what it is", so I just drove.
On 20 January this year, I traded this RV for a new 2014 Coachmen, with a Triton V-10. When they drove the RV they told me it had a cracked manifold and my trade value went south.
So, I am guessing either 1) I got screwed buy the dealer or 2) the Triton V-10 is a darn good motor. The current V-10 is a lot better and I can now hear road noise vs. engine noise, and I can hear the radio!
Happy travels.
