Sorry to hear all that, Burlmart. Glad you both are okay and your doggies are as well.
There's always a possibility of problems, no matter where we go or what we do. The best we can do is just be prepared.
When we got our little 213, it was 8 years old and only had 8700 miles on it. Tires looked new, still had the nubs on them. We were headed to Alaska, so Terry took it and got 7 new tires, including the spare, put on. The tire dealer said if we were just going to camp close to home he would have recommended keeping the old ones on. But when we told him we were going to Alaska, he said changing them was the right thing. Glad we did. 15,000 miles later, we arrived back and all tires intact!
