Ordered new class C 28ft, campsite length issues???

I would think back on your favorite campgrounds and try to remember if any had something blocking the back of the pad.

In some of my favorite NF campsites here in Northern California, there are tall rocks and/or trees that would prevent me from backing the overhang past the pad. The last campsite I was in had a pad of exactly 25ft and there was an evil rock at the back - the rock was just high enough that it would hit the underneath of your overhang and rip it apart.
