A dealer only cares about what helps sell a RV off his lot, not what brings a better price at resale. Having said that, items that help sell a RV new also help sell a RV when it is used. However, if you plan on keeping the RV for an extended time, then just buy what you want and don't worry about resale. Saving $40,000 on options when buying new means that your RV will bring $15000 less when you sell it is very wise- especially if you have no use for those $40000 worth of options.
