The water tank is amazing, 208 L, 55 gal. But more amazing is the mileage. Thru the rocks I was getting 9 to 11 mpg. Back in Vancouver doing our runs to the Island and Seattle it jumped to 14.9! I drive with cruise control and the sweet spot seems to be 94kph (58mph).
With my gasser van and 19' Bigfoot trailer I was getting 8 to 11 mpg at best. This is my first diesel and I'm growing fond of the low pitched feline growl from the engine. The turbo spinning up is pretty cool, too.
The superb 5 speed TorqShift tranny is so smooth the gear changes are almost imperceptible.
One of the impressive sights while climbing the rock pile was watching the tach pegged at 3000 while doing 50mph up a steep grade.
