Oxidation on Fiberglass Roof
The roof of my 2004 Roadtrek (fiberglass) is badly oxidized. I have read a lot of the posts pertaining to removing oxidation, but none of them address my particular situation.
Parts of the roof are oxidized so badly there is no paint left. Has anyone had experience with successfully removing the oxidation and then repainting the roof? Would it hurt to leave it the way it is? It does not leak. Would this task be better left to a dealer who could professionally remove and repaint it? Any ideas on cost? All suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,
Beth
