My observation on the checking problem is that it occurs mostly in the darker color paints on any brand coach. My '02 is beginning to have some checking in the dark stripe but the rest if the coach is fine.
In using a infra red thermometer the difference in temperature between a light color and a dark color can be as much as 100 degrees. just another observation.
