Paint/Clearcoat Repair Peeling Above Windshield

In our Paperwork I found the Color Scheme and the Bottled Paint Samples and all mixing Codes. I am sure this will save any Painter/Mixer a lot of time and effort. Will take it to our Trusted Long Time RV Center. I am just wondering if Preventive Waxing and special attention to that area would avoid this issue? Also for those of you who had it NOT LAST long could wax or? saved it?
