I think the straight down jacks are more stable than the kick down. I have had mine roll off the kick down jacks when not level. It is not fun especially when trying to set up at night in an unknown area and you roll backwards. You know your driveway is not level so I would use wood or plastic material to drive up on to level. I use 1 in thick nylon to keep the moisture away from the tire but wood would be fine. Also you don't say what MH you have but if it is an older Chevy Chassis with the Auto park system these can be problematic if the brake shoe fails to hold the drive shaft, it can easily roll when unlevel even when the rear wheels are on the ground.
