I pay $379 a month in Southern California for an enclosed garage (13x50), 30 amp with a manual garage door (100+ garages in development). They have water on site. The facility is gated, camera'd and has a manager on duty during normal business hours. We have our own 'opener' to come and go when the office is closed.
I keep the garage even though I'm not there in the summer months (110+ degrees). The owner told me that I was probably his longest renter (8.5 yrs.)...... and, he hasn't raised my rent since the beginning! I guess he knows that he will receive the rent on time every month (charges my CC).
