Pensacola vacation

Destin, Fl is about an hour east and full of touristy things, plus some very good restaurants and some of the best beaches in the U.S.
Just north of Grayton Beach SP, about another 30 minutes further and to the north is Eden Gardens SP (day use only). Nice little southern plantion-type home.
Enjoy.

Go out to Santa Rosa Island, turn right on Ft Pickens Rd, like you are going to the fort. In about a mile and a half on the right is Peg Leg Pete's. Usually crowded, but the food is good.

When you went to the Naval Aviation Museum, did you visit the light house? It is on base, on the right just before the museum.

If willing to day trip can go to Ft Walton Beach, Ft Rucker up in ala (army avn museum), back over to mobile to see the battleship alabama, just depends on what you mean by points of interest.
