It could be a consignment sale. Was there any water in the tank when you bought it? It could be the leak only occurs when the water level reaches a certain level. I doubt the dealer checked anything out. A lot of dealers if they sell used RV's only sell them on a consignment basis. That way they don't put up any money. They sell the vehicle for the seller, give them free parking on their lot and take a percentage of the sale. They take the word of the seller that everything works. Bottom line is never take the word of a salesman and get everything in writing on the sales contract. You made quite a few mistakes in checking out the vehicle. The dealer is under no obligation to fix anything if there was no warranty or anything written on the sales contract. Sorry.
