bar_20 is giving good advice. We purchased our used PW Plateau TS from an RV dealer and it was a trade-in vehicle. However, we had it checked from end to end and top to bottom including new brakes all round and oil&filter change. We took out a separate warrantee--which was probably a waste of money. We received the complete service history including the service booklet and copies of all services, parts etc added to the vehicle. It has run like a top since purchase that is, almost 2 years. I do sympathize with kiwi abroad. Buying anything used, including a house is potentially fraught with a problem even missed by a close professional inspection. Hopefully kiwi abroads vehicle will be generally a good one.
