We are all rooting for you and wish you happy travels. Vancouver Island, where we live, has a great selection of RV Resorts, Parks, by-ways and other locations for the Rvers who come from as far away as Germany(quite a few) and the USA. We dont keep our fresh water tank more than 1/2 full unless we are going to dry camp where there is no water supply.Reason: you are carrying a lot of extra weight. We mostly use hookups but try to empty our fresh water tank before winter--even though it is mild here. cheers
