Tinmac is claiming your unit has the 3M front cap clear mask and that because of that your front Cap PAINT is ruined and the 3M mask is defective, NOT true. I have worked on scores of Motorhomes with both 3M and other clear masks. As long as the paint was allowed to cure correctly before the mask is installed, there are no real problems with clear mask. IF the paint is not allowed to cure(dry) for a few weeks, then clear mask installation can cause problems. But I do agree, paint chips and bugs are not a big deal. Why pay for that clear mask? Doug
