Pismo Beach

How many here has camped at Pismo Beach in Ca.? We just came back from there but it wasn't our first time. We have always stayed at Pismo Coast Village and enjoyed it but this time we stayed at Pismo Sands and I enjoyed it much more. Wasn't as tight and much more grass. We were there with our RV Club. Will be back there again in Nov. with a group of friends. This next time we will be back at Pismo Coast Village. I didn't make the plans (never do) That's good then if it doesn't go right I don't have to take the blame.:W
  • Have been to Pismo a number of times at the Village. Nothing special in my book but we don't spend a lot of time in the campground.

Always hit Splash for their clam chowder, probably one of the best we have found
  • I'm now jealous I'm on the East Coast....:W. Pismo is one of my favorite places...now I'm also hungry for clam chowder......:B....Dennis
  • I realized that I have stayed at the Pismo Coast Village a few years ago. I thought it was nice. As you drive in, I was all the way to the left corner near the berm. It's a nice place to ride a bike and the city is nice and quaint.

I'll have to try the Pismo Sands RV park next time. I'll have to look it up and read more about it.

    Safe travels,
    MM.
  • I've stayed there quite a bit. I like the Village because it's such an easy walk into downtown.
  • Yes, that is an advantage with the Village it is closer to downtown and the pier.
