Over the years, our jobs and school have only allowed us up to a 2-week vacation at one time. So our journey's have kept us closer to home. We have been able to enjoy about a 900 mile one-way trip. But that's it while pulling our 5er. We will wait for retirement to take the cross country trip. And our prelim thoughts are to head east in the spring along the southern states, and return in the fall along the northern states - and see and enjoy it all.
Our plan is to have the trip part of the journey. For me, pushing it on he highway ruins it, and that's not how I want to feel while on vacation. JMHO
