I keep warning older or arthritic people about use of the overhead bed. You need at least a 27-28 foot rig with some sort of a rear bedroom with RV queen sized bed preferably with access on both sides. If your rig is new, hopefully you can exchange for a longer rig with rear bedroom. If it is used, sell it and get a floor plan with rear bedroom that appeals to you. We like our 2004 Fleetwood 26Q (27 feet bumper to bumper)for a number of reasons, but these were discontinued a couple of years ago. Look for a used 26Q, they are out there.
