The issue "do the Ingalls, SPC, etc. bushings fit E450?" goes like this:
Heavier vehicles can loosen improperly installed adjustable bushings. The fixed bushings are keyed so they can't come out even if the pinch bolt isn't tight. Adjustable bushings can't be made the same way or they couldn't adjust.
For this reason, at least some of the manufacturers don't recommend or list adjustable bushings for E450 since every E450 has dual rear wheels, indicating it'll carry heavy loads.
Some shops say they'll remove them if they find them, and certainly won't install them, on RV's.
When I spoke with John at Henderson's Line-Up, he assured me they WILL stay if properly installed. The torque on the Pinch Bolt is around 65-ft-lb. I'd add that they should be installed Clean and Dry, not oiled or greased. Henderson's uses the Ingalls or Specialty (SPC) bushings.
The E450 axle is no different than the E350 when it comes to bushings. In fact, since 2008, all E-Series front axles have been the SAME. Differences are the springs, shocks, spindles, etc.
