If I was in the same situation as the OP PLUS having the "been there, done that" experience I would ask my village friendly mechanic to install some Ingalls 594s sleeves set at +2.0 caster and 0.0 camber then align the toe.
I will place my money that all the OP problems will go away. The resulting camber will depend on the weight on the front springs. My guess that the OPs weight will be very similar to my E450 front end weight. So, worst case, the OP may want to drive the 80 miles to tweak the camber. I did not bother worrying about the precise camber setting and that was 33,000 miles ago. JMO
