I spoke with the former owner of the Allegro Bus 39 today. Of course some of what the salesman told me was a stretch, not a shocker there. All maintenance was performed by a diesel mechanic friend of his whom told him what it needed and when it needed it. The generator was not rebuilt but rather a broken part within the generator portion was replaced when it was almost new. Brakes are original, radiator was flushed four years ago, belts just done, spares with vehicle, front end aligned, both AC units were replaced with new, the Alternator is new, roof is original but washed once a year and has never leaked. He waxed it himself annually.
This guy is 83 years old and the original owner. He stated that the only reason he traded is because he wanted bunk beds for the grandkids. They returned from a 7,000 mile trip this summer and it never missed a beat.
So what say you all, does this sound like a well maintained coach?
Thanks again!
