IMHO, way too many white lies with the Tiffin and as I suggested in a previous post- I don't like "my mechanic did what HE said it needed", NOT what the owners manual said it needed. Also, wasn't it supposed to have been kept inside all these years yet the previous owner said it sat out in the snow a couple of years? The sales guys says all maintenance records are available and the previous owner said he threw them away? I believe , as stated in my previous post that there never was any records because his mechanic simply "did what he THOUGH T it needed"!!
Being a Bus owner for 7 years, spending weeks in Red Bay ( a week here, a week there during my ownership as that's the only place I allowed repair work on my Bus), plus spending an hour or so several days a week on the Tiffin Owners Forum, I do know these coaches pretty well. I, like many Tiffin owners, have spent time in Bob Tiffins office discussing my coach and Tiffin coaches in general. Tiffin does make a very nice coach, but so does Fleetwood, as in the American series.
I just would not buy the particular Tiffin your looking at as I think the maintenance was either not performed on schedule or if it was performed, it was done so in a slip-shod /haphazard approach.
All that being said- it's your money, will be your coach so only YOU can decide which coach is the right one for YOU! Best of luck and may the RV Gods be with you. Ron
