That is kinda what I was hoping to gain from here. I've done some digging and from my research I've gotten the feeling that Rexhalls are well made, welded steel frame (better for safety), molded fiberglass roof (less rot or leak) which I was very encouraging. When I started looking into that particular Allegro I started to be concerned about some of the stuff I was reading on the P30/37 chassis and the Chevy V8 in terms of performance and handling. I was hoping some forum members could confirm or deny that and/or shed any more light on the quantifiable pros/cons of those two units.
Yup we liked the welded steel frame and the fiberglass roof. Their leak problem is at the drivers door, common place for the Rexhall for some reason. You can maintain and watch that yourself, but check on the one you are thinking of buying, see if it has had the problem. Good luck
