I'm starting to think about putting up a storage shed for the MH and have looked at several websites for prefab steel buildings.
If anyone has used one of these, I would love to hear details regarding which company, ease of assy, ball park costs, and etc.
The size I'm consideing would be ~18' wide, 48' long, with a 13 X 12' door and one man door. Skylights, perhaps a couple of windows, and a couple of whirly vents for lighting and ventilation.
Thanks for any input.
Just a couple of personal insights,
A Steel Building is not easy to make changes to, requires a set crew and a crane (unless you are young and crazy - did it once 35 years ago - yes I was crazy) the nice thing about wood is that most of us can still work with it, so the pole barn may be a better idea.IMHO
Here is a great, though very extravagant web site with many Great designs, they provide kits so it might be something you could order and get a local crew to do. Take a look, even if it is not for you it has some pretty good basic ideas.
Some GREAT RV garages/shopsSome of these even show living space, look over -- it will at least give you some ideas, that you could incorporate into the Dream.
I've been tinkering with a number of designs over the years but the DW wants to live in a house and travel in the Coach. So none of my ideas have ever been built.
