pressure washer
Does anyone use a pressure washer to wash the mh, or the roof? I'm trying to justify getting one for christmas. :)

Pressure washers are a handy thing to have around. For normal dusty/dirty conditions on motor home sides, roof etc. a pressure washer is a bit much. But, what things depend on is, just how much pressure is emitted from the tip, and how far away. I've got two. One is 2650 PSI gas powered unit and, is for fairy dirty/greasy/grimy situations. I've also got lot lower one, I think it's around 800-1000 psi that's only 1.3 gallons a minute. I carry that one in the coach for when we're out on the road and as usually encountered, camp grounds that do not allow washing your coach, we may pull into a rest area or, in a remote corner of a Walmart or, Kmart or any other ultra-large semi-empty parking lot and just use our own water.
I can get the whole thing done, start to finish, in about 40 minutes and use very, very little water and no puddles. I really don't need the pressure from that little washer but, it puts out a good spray to rinse things off without consuming tons of water and making a big mess.
But for home washing, I don't use it, just a garden hose with a nozzle that's adjustable to a low flow GPM. Some might say that you can damage the surface of the coach or, the roof, well I've yet to see that happen. As stated, I don't use the large, higher powered one on the sides or front but, I've used it on the roof without issues. I suppose if you had a high powered one and held the tip an inch away from some of the vinyl graphic edges, you might lift some of them, never done that so, I don't know.
