I saw you pulled a toad in your pictures, but do you think it would be much easier to park in town with the 2100 vs the 2350?
The extra 2.5 feet makes ours too long to fit in a parking spot the normal way. I can fit, but only if I can overhang the rear beyond the parking lot like over grass or something. So my answer to your question is, I think the 2100 would be much easier to park.
With our PC, we have never vacationed without a tow vehicle, but I am tempted to do so, just to see how well it works going solo. Others with longer & wider rigs claim to have no trouble at all. But in big cities like New York & Chicago, I would imagine anything that won't fit into a parking garage, will be difficult to park.
Thanks for the info. I'd be interested in a trip report if you ever do a trip without the tow vehicle.
On a recent trip to NYC I saw a very old 30'(approx) GM motorhome parked in the street. It was a funky green thing. There was a sign telling the history of the rig and how it stays in NYC permanently and parks on the street. I think the owner lived in it. The MPG was horrible, but it only drove a couple of miles a week.
When I moved out of NYC I rented a small panel truck. Driving wasn't so bad. Just relax and take it easy.
Can I ask why you choose to tow a small jeep with a 25' motorhome as opposed to towing a travel trailer with a bigger jeep? Is this combo an easier tow?
